Who do you constantly find yourself seeking validation from in your personal or professional life?
From an early age, we have been conditioned to seek validation outside of the self, so we could learn what was right and wrong, good and bad, acceptable and non-acceptable, and as we did so we received either praise, love and attention or rejection, a reprimand or being chastised.
As a result, this pattern continued into adulthood and manifests in both our personal and professional lives as it is deeply woven into our unconscious psyche. It’s our default pattern that arises when we feel insecure, lacking in confidence, and are crippled by self-doubt.
In this episode of The Feminine Principle Podcast, I’m exploring how our relationship with seeking validation keeps us from trusting in our own power and potential and prevents us from validating our emotions, our needs and boundaries, and our dreams and desires.
I share with you a story about my own relationship with validation and how it helped me to understand the deeper belief system at play that was directly connected to my own sense of self-worth and the steps we can take to unravel this deeply embedded pattern from our shadow self.
