Your identity is your sense of self, the roles you play, the masks you wear and the labels you gather through life to show to others who you are, what you’ve achieved, and what you do for a living.
However, buried deep within your psyche is also your unconscious identity the shaping of which began pre-birth in the womb of your Mother and continued into childhood by those around you.
As you have grown through life you have been conditioned on how to love, trust and relate with yourself and others and how to behave, what to believe, and what was acceptable and ‘right’ through your interactions with the world around you and the wounding and trauma you experienced.
Woven through this unconscious conditioning is your own unique soul code, your gifts, strengths and talents, your spirit and nature.
All this creates your identity, your sense of self - your unconscious identity versus your true identity - and your journey through life to merge the two and become more whole through Shadow Work.
